Preface

On July 26, 2023, the "Business Factoring Top 100 Forum and 2nd Tianjin Commercial Factoring Development Forum"（商業保理百強匯論壇暨第二屆天津市商業保理發展論壇） hosted by the Tianjin Commercial Factoring Association, was successfully held in #Tianjin. Ms. Hu Jingwen, our Director of the Sustainability Department, was invited to participate and deliver a keynote speech.

Details of the Forum

The forum brought together leading factoring companies, financial institutions, and industry experts from across the country. Attendees delivered speeches and provided comments from various perspectives, including the positioning and role of commercial factoring, risk control and compliance of different factoring models, and supply chain transformation. The discussions aimed to explore the optimization of industrial chains and the enhancement of value chains, comprehensively serving the real economy, and promoting high-quality development of the factoring industry.

Under the theme of "ESG Governance Facilitating Green Factoring for High-Quality Development,"（ESG治理助力綠色保理實現高質量發展） Ms. Hu delivered a keynote speech, sharing the latest trends in #ESG and #green finance development. She further explored the deep value of implementing ESG governance for enterprises.

Ms. Hu suggests that leading enterprises in the factoring industry should consider their own development stages when addressing ESG governance. They should closely align themselves with national strategic guidance, enhance the awareness of boards of directors and management regarding ESG requirements, unify internal goals for environmental protection, social responsibility, and sound corporate governance. It is essential to establish an ESG governance system that reflects the unique characteristics of factoring companies. By meeting regulatory and market expectations, this will provide sustained impetus for long-term, positive development of the enterprises.
