【Online Webinar】Invitation to Join Experience Sharing on CIC Sustainable Finance Certification Scheme



In support of the HKSAR Government’s pledge to position Hong Kong as a leading sustainable finance hub in Asia and achieve carbon neutrality before 2050, the Construction Industry Council (CIC) has developed and launched the CIC Sustainable Finance Certification Scheme (the Scheme) in November 2021.


The Scheme aims to provide a common framework and user-friendly assessment system to facilitate the application of sustainable finance for the construction industry in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.


Prior to the official launch of the Scheme, there have already been 20 projects successfully certified under the pilot phase of the Scheme. As the Scheme continues to gain traction, many more applications across the construction industry are now being received.


In order to enhance the familiarity with the Scheme among banking industry practitioners, you are cordially invited to join the Experience Sharing Session on CIC Sustainable Finance Certification Scheme organized by CIC on 31 May 2022. Speakers will introduce the Scheme’s application and assessment procedures, as well as discuss how the Scheme supports financial institutions to explore possibilities and prospects of the construction industry.

The event will be conducted in English and the fee will be waived. Due to limited capacity, enrolment will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register as soon as possible to secure your enrolment in the session on or before 27 May 2022.


An electronic copy of 1.5 hours CPD attendance certificate will be issued to participants who attended the 1.5-hour webinar including the feedbacks & comments collection session and completed the online survey within one month after the live webinar.
